Real families. Real moments. Small things that can help.
Steadiness starts here
Grown-ups get overwhelmed too. We can make mistakes, apologise, repair and try again. Our boxes offer a practical place for the adult and child to begin together.
Made for real life

01First from Steady Hearts · Sleep series
A practical bedtime toolkit for little ones and their grown-ups, created to support calmer, more connected evenings—one small step at a time.
Second from Steady Hearts · Worry series
A practical collection to help adults and children notice, share and respond to worry together, without trying to “fix” the feeling.
02One story, one breath and one heart moment at a time.
Choose the resource that feels useful and make a little space together.
Feelings are valid, but they do not explain every behaviour. Notice what may be happening while keeping appropriate boundaries.
A story, a breath, an apology or a fresh start can become a meaningful Heart Moment.
Exact box contents and suitability guidance will be shared ahead of launch.
A growing family of resources

A Heart Moment to try
“Before we find the answer, can we take one slow breath together?”
Connection does not always need a long conversation. Sometimes a small pause says: I am here, the boundary still matters, and we can meet this moment together. Little moments become memories.

Meet Vikki
Steady Heart, Steady Hands is built around a simple belief: children do not need perfect adults. They need steady ones who can stay curious, hold kind boundaries and come back to connection.
I’m a wife, a mum and an educator with over 25 years of experience in education and leadership. My passion has always been to help children grow into the very best of who they are.
I created Steady Hearts, Steady Hands because every family deserves warm, evidence-informed support that helps children feel safe, seen and understood.

Steady Hearts resources are designed to sit alongside everyday family and learning life—not to demand another perfect routine.
Use a story, visual card or comforting character to create a shared point of focus when words are hard to find. Pause, notice what is happening and return to connection without letting go of appropriate boundaries.
Explore the boxes →Bring simple, consistent language into one-to-one support, calm spaces or conversations with families. We can discuss which resources may fit your setting and how group orders could work.
Talk to Vikki →Choose a box around the moment a family is navigating—bedtime, worry or another big feeling—and give something practical they can use together, at their own pace.
Ask about gifting →A little reassurance
